senior season, aiming to step up and become one of the Lakers’ top
post players… Versatile post that can play both power forward or
center… Plays strong around the basket, and has good footwork for a
player of her stature… Improved her athleticism and will have more
stamina… A potential All-Peach Belt Conference hopeful this season.
2005-06: Saw action in 31 games with 19
starts during her first season in a Laker uniform… Averaged six
points and five rebounds a game while shooting 47 percent from the
field and 72 percent from the free throw line… Reached
double-figures in scoring in six games… Scored a career-high 15
points against Columbus State on 5-for-8 shooting from the field and
5-for-5 from the free throw line… Also scored 13 points against West
Georgia and 12 points against Wingate in the NCAA Division II
National Tournament… Recorded her only double-double on the season
with 11 points and 11 rebounds against Lander.
Pre-Clayton State: Lettered two seasons
in basketball at Palm Beach Community College… Junior college head
coach was Chanita Olds… Selected All-Southern Florida Conference as
a sophomore in 2005… Averaged 12 points, eight rebounds and one
blocked shot a game while shooting 50 percent from the field as a
sophomore.
