Returning starter
at power forward for the Lakers… One of the most versatile and
offensive-minded post players in the Peach Belt Conference… Scores
effectively inside and shoots exceptionally well from the perimeter
with great range… Does a lot of damage on the offensive boards… Will
be one of the top rebounding forwards in the Peach Belt this season…
A legitimate All-Peach Belt hopeful this season.
2005-06: Made a successful transition
into the Clayton State system, seeing action in all 31 games with 11
starts... Averaged nine points and five rebounds a contest, while
shooting 75 percent from the free throw line and 44 percent from the
field... Reached double-figures in scoring in 13 games with two
double-doubles... Recorded double-doubles against Lander (12 points,
11 rebounds) and USC-Aiken (17 points, 12 rebounds)... Scored a
career-high 19 points each against Lander, North Georgia and Francis
Marion... Also scored 18 points each against Elizabeth City State
and Armstrong Atlantic and 17 points each against USC-Aiken and
against Johnson C. Smith in the NCAA Division II National
Tournament.
Pre-Clayton State: Was a two-year
standout at Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, Fla…
Junior college head coach was Glenda Montgomery… Averaged 17 points
and seven rebounds as a sophomore, while shooting 57 percent from
the field and 84 percent from the free throw line in the process… A
two-time All-FCCAA Southern Conference selection.
High School: Lettered two seasons in
basketball and soccer at Westwood High School in Fort Pierce… High
school head coach was Patricia Alexander… Served as team captain for
two seasons… Helped lead Westwood to the state tournament as a
senior.
